The G-Research NBA Data Challenge

We’re excited to announce the G-Research NBA Data Challenge!

We’ll be giving users the chance to demonstrate their ability to use large historic data sets to predict this season’s NBA results.

Once you sign up, you’ll be provided with 10 years’ worth of historic NBA data for you to use to create a model that predicts basketball scores for this season. There will be monthly cash prizes, and a final grand prize for those who are able to build the most accurate model. In total, we’ll be giving away £30,000 over the NBA season.

Anyone over the age of 18 is eligible to join, with the exception of current G-Research staff and their immediate family. No knowledge of basketball is required, just the ability to work with data.
