The role

We are offering a 12-month opportunity for students enrolled on a sandwich degree programme to join our People team. This role provides first-hand experience in one of the most dynamic HR environments in the industry.

As an HR placement year student, you will support the delivery of events and brand activity across digital and in-person channels. You will coordinate marketing materials and logistics, assist with content creation and social media, and work closely with stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered effectively and on time.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the planning and delivery of conference sponsorships, STEM partnerships and attraction events
  • Assisting with the organisation and on-the-day delivery of internal and external events, including managing logistics, suppliers and attendees
  • Coordinating branded merchandise, marketing collateral and event assets, including shipping, print and inventory tracking
  • Providing administrative support across brand and partnerships projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met
  • Creating and curating content for internal and external channels, including social media, blogs and website updates
  • Supporting social media planning, publishing and performance tracking
  • Assisting with event content capture and distribution working closely with the Content Lead
  • Conducting research into relevant conferences, partnerships and branding opportunities
  • Updating website content ensuring brand consistency across materials

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for students who demonstrate a genuine interest in marketing and are eager to gain real-world experience.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Be enrolled on a sandwich degree in a relevant field, such as Business, Social Sciences or Organisational Psychology with a graduation date in 2028
  • A strong academic record, including excellent A-Level or BTEC results
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills coupled with a proactive and collaborative approach to work
