Quant Challenge – The University of Cambridge
- Quantitative Research
On Wednesday 28th September, G-Research will host its brand new Quant Challenge at The University of Cambridge.
Our interactive Quant Challenge is based on an algorithmic trading game and will put your Python skills to the test, while giving you unique insight into the world of quantitative finance and what we do at G-Research.
Some of our Quant Researchers will also be on hand to talk you through what’s required, and answer any questions you might have.
You will need to bring a fully charged laptop – as charging ports may not be available – and will play in teams of two to three, with food and drink available to keep you going, as well as prizes for the winners.
Meet our Quant Researchers
Alongside the simulation, we’ll have some of our Quantitative Researchers and Machine Learning Specialists on hand, and they’ll share their knowledge about the industry and how a mathematical skillset can be transferred outside of academia.
Once the challenge has finished, we’d love if you could join us for pizza and drinks, where you’ll also have the opportunity to discuss the event, network and learn more about working at G-Research with our Quant Researchers.
