Machine Learning College

Our tailored learning programme brings renowned academic research and cutting-edge techniques directly to us, enabling our people to continuously build their knowledge and stay ahead of the curve.

What is ML College?

ML College is our established, in-house learning programme. It’s designed to keep our ML practitioners at the forefront of the industry through a bespoke seminar and workshop programme.

Cutting-Edge Research and Tailored Learning

ML College has two key components:

  • Monthly seminars: World-renowned academic researchers showcase their latest research
  • Implementation workshops: In-depth, practical sessions where we explore how we can deploy the latest techniques

ML Skills to Put into Practice

Our approach to ML College enables our people to continuously learn and hone their skills, while equipping them with the practical knowledge to put theory into practice.

For those less familiar with ML, we provide a number of on-demand learning units specific to methods our researchers use.

World Renowned Academics

We invite world renowned academics to present their research, giving real insight into cutting-edge ML developments in an intimate setting. Past speakers include:

  • Tim Sainburg, UCSD: Parametric UMAP: learning embeddings with deep neural networks for representation and semi-supervised learning
  • Michael Dennis, UC Berkeley: Unsupervised Environment Design for Transfer in RL
  • Colin Wei, Stanford University: Theoretical Analysis of Self-Training with Deep Networks on Unlabelled Data
