Fact file

Position: Software Engineering Intern

Team: Software engineering

Before G-Research: Studying a Master’s degree in Machine Learning at Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.

“My internship project focused on improving our compute infrastructure, with the aim of saving time and resources for the researchers and engineers who use it.

“Alongside my internship I’m doing a master’s degree in machine learning at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. Having done many internships, I’d say that G-Research gave me a unique experience where I’m surrounded by both very talented and very approachable people and where my contributions are impactful.

“The internship programme is well-designed with various training sessions and workshops on how G-Research and the quant finance world works. This gave me good ground to understand my team’s work and progress both in my project and in my technical skills in general. I’ve also had the opportunity to chat with many people from different teams around the company which was an enormously enriching learning experience through which I understood the industry and my own career goals better.”
