Content Lead

  • Business Management
  • London

We tackle the most complex problems in quantitative finance, by bringing scientific clarity to financial complexity.

From our London HQ, we unite world-class researchers and engineers in an environment that values deep exploration and methodical execution - because the best ideas take time to evolve.  Together we’re building a world-class platform to amplify our teams’ most powerful ideas.

Every breakthrough is built on strong foundations. In our people team, you’ll work across disciplines to drive the strategy, culture and structure that enable our success.

Take the next step in your career.

The role

We’re looking for a sharp, ambitious multimedia content creator with strong storytelling instincts — someone who can find the story in the data, bring our values to life and create content that resonates across formats, audiences and channels.

In this hands-on creative role, you’ll be shooting, editing and producing video content, capturing standout photography and designing eye-catching visual assets, all while helping to drive our refreshed marketing strategy and employee value proposition (EVP). From launching culture campaigns to polishing social media assets, you’ll be a key player in shaping how we show up, inside and out.

You should be a strong storyteller, with experience in agency or in-house comms, with a strong portfolio of work. This is a fast-moving role where you’ll play both creative and strategic roles and help drive a one-team mindset across the function.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Telling stories that matter. Shaping engaging content from concept and storyboard through to execution, across a range of formats

  • Bringing G-Research to life. Developing content that strengthens our brand, connects people to our EVP and values, and supports both internal and external campaigns

  • Producing video content. Owning the end-to-end production: shooting, editing and producing high-quality videos for internal and external audiences

  • Capturing compelling photography. Taking photos that bring our people, culture and events to life

  • Designing with purpose. Creating visual assets — from slides and infographics to campaign collateral — that elevate our storytelling

  • Supporting our content strategy. Delivering messaging and narratives that support the aims of our internal comms and marketing strategies

  • Designing when needed. Pitching in on visual assets like presentations, infographics and slides — especially when the message matters

  • Staying organised. Keeping our content library clean, accessible and up to date to support speed and quality

  • Helping to make things happen. Jumping in on campaigns, events or ad hoc content requests — whatever helps the team deliver

  • Collaborating across teams. Partnering with colleagues and leaders to turn ideas into content that informs, inspires and connects

Who are we looking for?

As Content Lead, you’ll generate new ideas that shape the way we tell our story and build a world-class content function.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Highly creative and adaptable. A content creator with a strong portfolio showcasing video production, storytelling and design

  • Master of video production. Able to shoot and edit high-quality content, whether using top-end gear or a more agile approach

  • Thrives under pressure. Can juggle multiple projects and deliver on tight deadlines

  • Confident and collaborative. Able to work with senior leaders and translate complex ideas into compelling visuals

  • Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent. Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator or similar tools

  • Excellent communicator. Strong written and verbal skills to make technical content engaging and accessible

  • Team-first mindset. Eager to pitch in wherever needed, whether that’s event support or last-minute creative problem-solving

  • Background or strong interest in tech, science, or research? That’s a plus, but not essential.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape G-Research’s storytelling and work at the intersection of finance, technology and creativity. If you’re ready to bring our stories to life, we’d love to hear from you.

Why should you apply?

  • Highly competitive salary plus annual discretionary bonus

  • 30 days’ annual leave

  • 9% company pension contribution

  • Comprehensive healthcare and life assurance

  • Lunch provided (via Just Eat for Business) and dedicated on-site barista

  • Informal dress code and strong work/life balance

  • Cycle-to-work scheme

  • Subsidised gym membership

  • Monthly company events
