This is a role based in our new Soho Place office – opened in 2023 - in the heart of Central London.

The role

Our Talent Acquisition function has specialisms in quantitative research, technology, campus and recruitment marketing. We are now looking to add a Specialist with expertise in the alternative-investment industry to support our hiring needs in this space.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

Head-hunting & introductions to talent

  • Identify, engage, and introduce of top-tier talent
  • Devise and execute innovative methods of candidate attraction

Market intelligence

  • Analysis of the industry landscape, delivering competitor insights, and enabling informed decision-making aligned to our business strategy & industry trends

Market mapping

  • Maintenance of a dynamic candidate map, ensuring we have real-time visibility into potential candidates and market moves

Advising on best recruitment and closing practices

  • Provide guidance on optimal recruitment practices, ensuring that every stage of our recruitment process aligns to industry benchmarks
  • Using data to propose improvements and optimise at every opportunity
  • Understanding prospects’ ambitions, motivations and career options in order to sell back our opportunity, identifying potential issues or roadblocks

Networking

  • Cultivate and nurture a network of industry professionals within the sector, staying attuned to emerging trends and opportunities

Package negotiation

  • Candidate expectation management (in conjunction with our Reward function)

Management of third-party search firms

  • Management of and collaboration with select external search firms

Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • At least three years’ experience within a reputable search firm and/or internal TA team managing technical roles; whether in technology or quant disciplines
  • An understanding of, and network within the systematic-investment industry ideally across the UK and US markets
  • A genuine interest in the systematic investment space
  • A proactive “hunter” with the ability to source hard-to-engage prospects in new and innovative ways
  • Proven track record of delivering top talent and closing high-calibre candidates
  • Exceptional organisational skills and a capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously
