The role

We’re seeking  a Talent Sourcer who can use traditional head-hunting methods whilst also adopting novel techniques, technology and community platforms to research hard-to-find tech talent across the UK, Europe and the US.

The successful candidate will support our internal head-hunting function by systematically sourcing tech talent across a range of geographies, backgrounds and industries.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Identifying and engaging specialist software, infrastructure, devops and hardware engineers:

    • Researching and engaging prospects across priority business needs

    • Utilising tools and methods, such as GenAI tools and platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, community sites, such as GitHub and Stack Overflow, XRAY searches, blogs, social media and our in-house CRM to build out talent pipelines

    • Attending networking events, lectures, conferences, careers fairs and meet-ups to build out our candidate pipeline and relationships

    • Driving external and internal referrals through new joiner catch-ups and staff engagement

  • Building relationships with potential candidates, feeding appropriate prospects into the TA Specialists’ candidate stream:

    • Understanding prospect’s ambitions, motivations and career options in order to sell our opportunity during the process, whilst identifying potential issues or roadblocks

    • Feeding information into the interview process to inform the TA Specialists’ closing strategy

    • Assisting candidates with preparation for the interview process

  • Identifying and evaluating new sourcing platforms, tooling and opportunities to automate where possible

  • Assisting with administrative duties, including the CV Review, as required

Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Demonstrable experience sourcing technical talent, either from within a recruitment agency or an internal TA function

  • A creative mindset to identify new and effective ways to source and engage the very best technical talent

  • The ability to balance multiple roles and priorities at a given time while maintaining operational excellence

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • A people person keen to work as part of a team, with excellent organisational skills and an adaptable and flexible attitude
