What is Women in Engineering?

In collaboration with our Women in Engineering affinity group, G-Research is launching a new initiative designed to give women working in Software Engineering an opportunity to develop their business skills and build a professional network with like-minded people.

Our next networking event

Our first Women in Engineering networking event takes place on Monday 5th December at our offices in Central London.

Our schedule:

    • 6.00pm: Doors open and welcome drinks

Sign-in, collect your name badge and find a drink – cocktails will be available all evening!

    • 6.30pm: Opening remarks

Welcome from Ange Shaw, Talent Acquisition @ G-Research

    • 6.40pm: Talk and Q&A with Clare Sudbery

Clare Sudbery, Independent Technical Agile Coach, delivers a talk on Compassionate Refactoring

    • 7.45pm: Talk from Samantha Cannon

Samantha Cannon, Engineering Manager @ G-Research, talks about how you can make your company better

    • 8.00pm: Networking and cocktails (plus special social activity)

We’re aiming to create a relaxed environment that allows all attendees to network in a way they’re comfortable with to help foster long-term relationships – we’ll have cocktails, food and a social activity to help you connect.
