What is Women in Engineering?
In collaboration with our Women in Engineering affinity group, G-Research is launching a new initiative designed to give women working in Software Engineering an opportunity to develop their business skills and build a professional network with like-minded people.
Our next networking event
Our first Women in Engineering networking event takes place on Monday 5th December at our offices in Central London.

We’re aiming to create a relaxed environment that allows all attendees to network in a way they’re comfortable with to help foster long-term relationships – we’ll have cocktails, food and a social activity to help you connect.
Our speakers and team
Clare is an independent technical coach with 23 years of software engineering experience.
Clare specialises in TDD, refactoring, pairing, continuous integration and other eXtreme Programming (XP) practices.
She has a passion for helping under-represented groups to flourish in tech, and currently teaches the Coding for Black Females’ Return to Tech programme.
Samantha joined G-Research in 2017 and is now an Engineering Manager, with her team sat within the Realtime Platform Development function.
Alice is an Engineering Manager at G-Research and works within our Realtime Platform Development function.
Annie is a Software Engineer at G-Research, sitting within our Quant Platform Development function.
Maria is an Engineering Manager at G-Research, and sits within our Low Latency Engineering function.
Ange is responsible for G-Research’s Engineering hiring. If you have any questions about G-Research, Ange will be happy to answer them.
