G-Research has expanded its partnership with the University of Warwick to support the next generation of mathematicians, statisticians and machine learning researchers through a new programme of postgraduate scholarships.

The collaboration will fund scholarships for outstanding MSc and PhD students in Warwick’s Department of Statistics, with a particular focus on machine learning and AI modelling. Alongside financial support, students will have access to mentoring from G-Research researchers, career development opportunities and invitations to academic and industry events, helping bridge the gap between cutting-edge research and real-world applications.

The partnership reflects a shared commitment to developing exceptional research talent and strengthening collaboration between academia and industry. By supporting students at an important stage in their careers, G-Research is helping create opportunities for emerging researchers to pursue ambitious work in mathematics, statistics and artificial intelligence.

We’re delighted to deepen our relationship with the University of Warwick, whose strengths in mathematics, statistics and machine learning make it an outstanding partner. By supporting talented postgraduate researchers, we hope to help develop the ideas and people that will shape the future of quantitative research.

The scholarships form part of G-Research’s wider commitment to supporting mathematical talent through long-term partnerships with leading universities. Through our NextGen programme, we work with academic institutions across the UK and Europe to help researchers thrive, strengthen research communities and inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers.
